Volunteering        What your donation will buy

Donations:
We welcome donations of any type.  Rescue can be quite costly, depending on the health of the dog. We also welcome volunteers!

Volunteering
Besides being costly in terms of money, rescue is also costly in terms of time.

We can always use help in identifying dogs which involves going to the shelter or home & looking at the dog and taking digital photos (if possible).
Another big help would be assisting in transportation of the dog.  Could be from the shelter to the foster home or from the foster home to the adoptive home.
For seasoned volunteers, we could use help in doing the "home visit" with prospective adoptive families.
Working at public relation events in Oklahoma.  Folks are needed to staff our fox terrier rescue booth at various state-wide pet / dog related events.
Taking rescue dogs to appointments, whether it be to the vet's, the groomers or to meet a prospective family.
Helping socialize the rescue dog.  Some dogs need extra time spent in this area.  Possible places to socialize the dog....obedience class, in your house with your pets and/or children (depending on the rescue dog), at the dog park, at a local pet supply store (like PetsMart), or just about any other dog friendly place!
